Excellent Leader Training (ELT) has held several networking leadership trainings with Mrs. Elizabeth Luzyana as the mentor from the Tefila Indonesia Foundation. In mid-2010, after conducting the training, Mr. Budi Utomo suddenly said to Mr. Anton Darmawan and Mr. David Novandi, "We must build a school in Kupang".

Shortly after, Mr. Anton Darmawan was appointed as the project leader for the school construction, which then operated under the legal entity named Yayasan Pandhega Jaya. With limited resources, Mr. Anton Darmawan invited the youth from the Saints Movement Community Church (SMCC) and ELT to pioneer the development of SMAKr. Pandhega Jaya.

An important event occurred when Mrs. Elisabeth Devi Dwi Dutavire and her husband, Mr. Hizkia Ade Kurniawan, decided to dedicate themselves fully to SMAKr. Pandhega Jaya. Mrs. Devi was then appointed as the principal, assisted by Mrs. Jeni Rodiani Mau and Mr. Samuel Meha, both of whom are native to NTT.

Slowly but surely, the physical structure of SMAKr. Pandhega Jaya began to stand. Finally, in March 2014, SMAKr. Pandhega Jaya began the student admission process. 22 students became the first batch.

SMAKr. Pandhega Jaya, with its Christian character-based curriculum and boarding life concept, proves its quality to the community. Due to the transformation of the students' characters, in the second year, the number of applicants increased significantly, but due to limited capacity, only the 25 best students could be accepted.

Now, SMAKr. Pandhega Jaya has secured a serious position in the education sector of Kupang City. Join us, working hand in hand for the future of Indonesia.
